Ah yes, the dreaded "about page." That vicious and insipid leftover of corporate Web sites that seems to have found it's way all too easily into the world of those who choose to expose themselves to others through this strangely personal, cruelly objective medium known as the Internet. Ah, what to say? What to reveal? Who cares?
Well, apparently you do, otherwise you'd have left long ago. ("Hello? Still there?") Hmmm, I suppose I should start with the facts, then, as there's not much else to start with. You've stumbled (or been dropped) on to the home page and blog of Chris Fuller and Louisa Turner. Most of what you read here has probably been posted by Chris, as I'm the more Web focused of the two of us, but Louisa will occasionally grace the blog with her thoughts as well.
Chris was born on March 16, 1972 and grew up in the beautiful, though incredibly boring, rolling hills of upstate New York. Louisa was born on April 17, 1973 and became a world traveler by age five as her family moved from Massachusetts to New York to England, back to New York, to California, Maryland and New York again (yikes!). We both went to college at BC and yes, that's where we met. We particularly owe our encounter to The Bostonians of Boston College, the a cappella group that was the home to many of our now closest friends.
After a bit of a courtship (only 7 years) we finally got married on 11/11/00 in Phoenix, Az. We spent an amazing honeymoon on Bora Bora and currently live in Orange County, Ca. where Chris runs an online computer networking magazine, 8wire, and Louisa teaches at the GIA. What you'll generally find here are our ramblings and musings on the events that make up our lives, the recipe database that started this whole project (and to which you should feel free to add), photos of our friends and families and links to our favorite sites, books, movies and music. And if you care to share your thoughts or any feedback on the site, just let us know.
